At the heart of MTG programming, is child protection and safeguarding that is fully integrated into its entire operations to ensure safety to all beneficiaries while participating in MTG activities is guaranteed.
The program aims at safeguarding all children involved in our activities from harm, abuse and neglect in, around and through sport by providing a safe environment for play.
HOW WE DO IT
- Sensitization and capacity building of our staff members, volunteers and stakeholders on child protection and safeguarding.
- Risk assessments: Based on a risk matrix these are done before any activities to access possible risks and plan ahead on how to mitigate them.
- Follow-up on child protection concerns in the communities that we serve.
