About Us

We believe that football has a unique power to unlock the potential of disadvantaged girls and young women.

In coastal Kenya, girls and young women face social obstacles such as early pregnancies, poor access to education and high poverty levels. Our programmes are designed to enable girls to acquire scholarships, be equipped with information on reproductive health and rights and acquire skills for financial independence.

Through MTG, girls and young women become part of the movement fighting for their rights. We create a safe space for girls and young women to understand their rights and claim them — to take up leadership roles and have a voice in society.

Child protection is a critical component of our work as we believe in safeguarding all children in MTG.
