What’s the News? MOVING THE GOALPOSTS has been NOMINATED for the National Diversity and Inclusion Awards 2019 (DIAR AWARDS) for the best NGO program on Gender Equality. The award aims at celebrating individuals, Corporates, NGOs, and government agencies who champion for the inclusion of people with disability and youth, gender equality, peace and cohesion. The awards are organized to recognize, honor and celebrate Diversity and Inclusion Champions.
What is at stake? A win for Moving The Goalposts will give us opportunity to elevate conversations around girls and football as we thrive to make inclusion an everyday reality. It will also increase our visibility and help push for our agenda of positively influencing and equipping communities to provide safe spaces and opportunities for girls and young women to enable them achieve their full potential

Why you should vote for us. Moving The Goalposts is a community sports for development organization in Coastal region of Kenya that gives more than 9000 girls and young women opportunities to play football and be part of a movement fighting for their rights and gender equality. This means that they can stay longer in school, know more about their reproductive health and rights and be likely to achieve financial independence. Moving The Goalposts envisions a fair, just and inclusive world where girls and young women’s rights are acknowledged, respected and realized.
