We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you. Moving The Goalposts (MTG) has received an invitation for three exceptional members to participate in Festival23, an 8-day youth festival of Football for Good, taking place in Sydney, Australia during the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023's quarter-final week. We couldn't be prouder of our representatives: Fatma Mohammed, Janet Motah, and Elvinah Kahindi.

Festival23 is a remarkable event that celebrates the social impact of football, bringing together young individuals for a combination of educational workshops and cultural programs delivered through the vehicle of sports. The festival aims to create a multiplier effect of positive social change across international and domestic communities.

Here's a closer look at our remarkable participants:

* Fatma Mohammed: Fatma's journey with MTG began as a player and quickly led her to become a field leader. Her dedication and passion for making a difference in her community led her to join the National Youth Service for training. Fatma's outstanding commitment and contributions were recognized, and she has now been appointed as the Divisional Assistant for Bahari. Her journey exemplifies the power of perseverance and continuous personal growth.?

* Janet Motah: Janet's exceptional work as a mentor for youth in the field of sports for development has earned her recognition as one of the most promising figures in her community. Her previous experience volunteering during Festival19 alongside the Women's World Cup in France was a defining moment in her sport-for-development journey. Janet's desire to be part of the Festival23 volunteering team once again showcases her unwavering dedication to creating positive change through sports.?

* Elvinah Kahindi: Hailing from Ganze Sub-County in Kilifi County, Elvinah has been an integral part of MTG since 2004. MTG has provided her with support in education, nurtured her football talent, and guided her career development. Elvinah's outstanding leadership skills have been instrumental in various roles within the organization, leading to her selection for Festivals23. She aims to broaden her skill set by learning how to organize high-standard events, promote gender equality, and empower youth through sports.?

By representing Moving The Goalposts and Kenya on an international platform, these remarkable individuals will not only inspire their peers but also contribute to the positive perception of our country. We are truly honored and proud to have them as ambassadors for MTG.

Festival23 will run from August 4th to August 14th, 2023.
