Herbert Dola, Programme and Advocacy Manager

Herbert Dola is a development professional with experience in program management, advocacy, and capacity building. With a background in public health and psychological counseling, he has worked on initiatives that support vulnerable communities, including persons with disabilities, girls, and young women. His expertise spans youth development, gender equality, health systems strengthening, and climate resilience.

As the Programme and Advocacy Manager at MTG, Herbert oversees the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that promote girls’ participation in football, strengthen leadership pathways, and advocate for gender-responsive policies. He also plays a key role in monitoring and evaluation, strategic planning, and resource mobilization to ensure program sustainability. His skills include program design and management, advocacy and policy engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), monitoring and evaluation, training and capacity building, psychosocial support and counseling, and partnership development.

Herbert is committed to developing impact-driven programs that enhance health and well-being. He believes in leveraging evidence-based strategies, community engagement, and partnerships to create sustainable solutions in public health and development.
