MTG Champions League Kickoff: A Triumph of Young Talent on the Pitch!

The much-anticipated kickoff of the MTG Champions League kicked off on 15/11/2023, and it’s been nothing short of spectacular! Designed to unite winning teams from grassroots-level competitions held between March and October across all our league fields, this league serves as the culmination of talent and dedication.

This is how the League Structure works:

Teams that emerge victorious in their respective grassroots-level competitions progress to the divisional level, where they vie for the chance to compete in the finals. The MTG Champions League embraces three age categories: Under 10, Under 13, and Open Age (16 – 25 years), offering a platform for diverse age groups to showcase their skills.

Day 1 Highlights: 15/11/2023

The inaugural matches held at Petanguo and Silala in Ganze Division were a true testament to the exceptional skills and unwavering determination of our young talents. A heartfelt “Asante” goes out to the incredible teams for their tireless support and dedication, setting the stage for an exhilarating tournament ahead.

Undeterred by challenging weather conditions in the coastal region, our Champions League proved resilient and spirited. Day 2 matches in Bahari Division showcased our young girls’ passion and dedication shine bright.
