Benta Kasichana, Divisional Assistant – Ganze



Benta Kasichana is a committed community development professional with a certificate in Electrical Engineering from Godoma Technical Training Institute. She has further honed her skills through specialized training in Youth Peer Education, First Aid (St. John’s Ambulance), and refereeing certifications from the Football Kenya Federation and Kenya Referees Association.
At Moving the Goalposts (MTG), Benta plays a crucial role in creating safe and inclusive spaces for girls to engage in sports while developing leadership skills. She leads player mobilization and recruitment, ensuring that both in-school and out-of-school girls have the opportunity to participate. Her role extends beyond the field as she actively engages the community, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance MTG’s impact. She also represents the organization in community events, advocating for greater support and participation in MTG initiatives.
Benta brings a dynamic set of skills, including facilitation, communication, teamwork, and football coaching. She is confident in her ability to inspire and support young players, helping them realize their potential both on and off the field. She firmly believes that stepping outside one’s comfort zone leads to growth and embraces every challenge as a learning opportunity.
