You are hereShully Bakari
Shully Bakari recently joined the MTG staff as a Divisional Coordinator in Ganze. Before that, she has been very active as a volunteer. Especially as a peer educator and a counselor. The trainings that she has done in computer packages and her diploma in community development serve her well in her new job, which is a challenging mix of work in the community, supporting girls and administrative tasks.
I joined in 2009. I was trained as a peer educator and a counselor and I have been an active volunteer. In that period I also tried to get more skills and knowledge. I have done computer packages and got my diploman in community development. Since this year I'm divisional coordinator in Ganze. I like my job, although it is a bit challenging. I work in the community, with the girls and there are also many administrative jobs that need to be done. But I have the right qualifications and I have the capacity. I like it that MTG gives girls information about reproductive health. They need it, we need it. As a girl from Kilifi I know how important it is. Girls really benefit from MTG. For MTG's 10th anniversary I wish MTG the best of luck in all it does.
