My Story:

I have been in Moving the Goalposts since 2005, with a short break when I was trained as a teacher. In MTG I have been trained as a peer educator. when I left school after doing my KCSE. Peer education is not only my work, it is my passion. Though I was trained as a teacher I love to work with girls on issues about reproductive health. Through peer education MTG creates spaces for the girls' voices to be heared. This helps them to get life skills and be empowered. My story is a good example of how MTG can help girls. I volunteered as a peer educator, data collector, referee and I have been the vice chairlady of the girls committee in my field. This has helped me to get where I am now. I facilitate trainings on reproductive health. Not only to MTG peer educators, but also to girls' parents, teachers and professionals from other organizations who want to learn from MTG. MTG has empowered me a lot and I believe that MTG will empower more girls in the next ten years to come!
