KILIFI, KENYA (December 5, 2014) - Moving the Goalposts (MTG) has closed the streetfootballworld East Africa Peace Festival. Twelve organizations from Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya brought football teams to the six day international football for development, peace and cultural event. Representatives from another ten organizations participated in different capacities in the Festival, including delegates from Burundi, Rwanda, Ethiopia and South Sudan. The East Africa Peace Festival is an initiative of the streetfootballworld network members in East Africa.
KILIFI, KENYA (March 25, 2014) - Beijing Raiders (Nairobi) and St. John's Secondary School (Kaloleni) have won the MTG tournament for girls' club football teams for the second time in a row. In 2013 it was also Beijing Raiders that took the first prize in the under 16 years age category and St. John's in the open age group.
KILIFI, KENYA (November 22, 2014) - Two teams from Kang'amboni league field have been crowned the new 2014 MTG Champions. Man City earned the title in the open age category while the under 10 year players united in the Arsenal team became the winners in the youngest age category. Superstars from Mdzongoloni won the championship in the under 13 year age category.
KILIFI, KENYA (November 19, 2014) - Moving the Goalposts organizes the annual MTG Champions League finals on Saturday 22nd November from 9.00 am until 15.00 pm at the MTG ground in Mnarani, Kilifi County.
KILIFI, KENYA (November 12, 2014) - Sixteen organizations have confirmed their participation in the East Africa Peace Festival organized by Moving the Goalposts (MTG) in Kilifi County. Teams from Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania will participate in an event that will bring together three hundred boys and girls in the age of 14 - 17 year in a six day international football for development, peace and cultural event from December 1 - December 5, 2014 at Chumani Secondary School in Chumani, Kilifi.
One hundred and fifty boys and girls from Kilifi County participated in a football drill led by Moving the Goalposts that discussed the question "how to end the cycle of violence" during the International Day of the Girl 2014 in Kilifi County.

The International Day of the Girls is held every year on 11th October. This year will be the third edition. In recognition of the importance of investing in and empowering girls during adolescence, preventing and eliminating the various forms of violence they experience, the theme of International Day of the Girl Child for 2014 is: Empowering Adolescent Girls: Ending the Cycle of Violence.

KILIFI, KENYA (October 1, 2014) - Moving the Goalposts Kilifi is organizing a football tournament for girls with special needs. Thirty one special units and two special schools are participating in a two day tournament that has seen more than 400 girls in Kilifi County engage in football and health information activities. The tournament started on Thursday 25th September with matches being played in Bamba (Maryango), Bahari (MTG field) and Kaloleni (Kizurini primary school). It is the first time that also a special school from Kwale County participates.
