(Kilifi Kenya 7th March, 2015 )- St. John's secondary school was crowned the winners of the 2015 MTG Secondary School tournament that was played on 7th March, 2015 at MTG grounds. St. Johns beat Mayowe Girls Secondary with 6 - 0 in their first match and later scored 2 -0 against Waa Girls secondary school before taking up Kilifi Mixed Secondary to the final. Kilifi Mixed Secondary School found their way to the finals with 2-0 win against Bale Secondary School.

It is almost three months ago when 12 organizations met for the East Africa Peace Festival (EAPF), a six day international football for development, peace and cultural event that was held in Kilifi, from November 30 - December 5, 2014. The East Africa Peace Festival 2014 brought together 78 boys and girls under the age of eighteen years and their leaders (three per team) from 12 member organizations of the East Africa streetfootballworld network from Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, South Sudan and Ethiopia and other sport for development organisations in the region.

The theme of the day will be: "United Action towards Sustainable Development for all through Sport". During this day, partner organizations will come together to experience how sports can be used as a tool for promoting peace in their communities.

The Moving the Goalposts Secondary School tournament for girls football teams will kick off on Saturday February 21, 2015 with matches in Bahari, Kwale, Vitengeni, Kaloleni and Ganze. The MTG secondary school tournament is an annual event that is held for the 14th time in a row and combines football, girls' leadership and peer led health education. Thirty one girls school football teams will participate this year.
