Moving The Goalposts is a community based organisation that has been in existence since 2002. MTG works in urban and rural areas of Kilifi and Kwale Counties empowering girls through football. As the organisation approaches its 15th year, the board and staff in partnership and with support of stakeholders and MTG girls has drafted a new strategic plan 2016 to 2020 to guide the implementation of programme. This has then resulted in the overhaul of the organisational structure. In order to operationalize this new structure, MTG wishes to fill the positions here below.  

 

1.     Post title:            Leagues Assistant

Reports to:               Football Team Leader

Job Purpose              Develop and implement the delivery of MTG leagues; administration and management.

 

Job Description for Leagues Assistant

  • Maintain an inventory of all Matches played during MTG tournaments and events
  • Maintain an inventory of , league teams and matches played during MTG leagues
  • Conduct regular reviews with Community Liaison Team Leader of all MTG League fixtures
  • Prepare and keep an updated League standing for all fields and manage the MTG online league standing on MTG website
  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports of MTG league program.
  • Ensure sufficient supply and management of MTG League equipments; Match reports, footballs, first aid kit, etc
  • Conduct regular audits in MTG fields to assess compliance of leagues to fair play, girls playing in appropriate age categories and effective implementation of league rules and code of conduct.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Certificate in relevant course or Form Four Certificate
  • Programme implementation experience
  • Football experience -over 3 years

 

2.     Post title:            Events Coordinator

Reports to:               Football Team Leader

Job Purpose              Coordination of All MTG Football Trainings and events.

 

 

Job Description for Events Coordinator

 

  • Coordinate All Football events in MTG
  • Coordinate all Residential trainings in MTG
  • Coordinate all Life skills programs and ensure that activities are delivered as planned
  • Coordinate all the TOT and Monthly Training programs; oversee the allocation of staff and effective delivery of football outputs during the activities
  • Maintain an up to date inventory of all trained leaders per field, per category and per group; coaches, referees and first aiders
  • Ensure all trained referees, coaches and first aiders are trained from basic to advanced levels
  • Ensure that Training and Leadership Curricula are up to date and age appropriate.
  • Prepare Training and Event reports

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Certificate in relevant course or Form Four Certificate
  • Programme implementation experience
  • Football experience -over 3 years
