The East Africa Peace Festival on BBC radio

During the East Africa Peace Festival that was held from 1st - 5th December 2014 in Kilifi, four participants have been interviewed by John Nene from the BBC about the role of sports in their lives.

MTG Executive Director Rachel Muthoga was interviewed by John Nene from the BBC. In the aftermath of the #MydressMychoice discussion that took place when girls and women in Nairobi were physically harassed in public, they talked about girls playing football in shorts in Kilifi and Kwale Counties.

Meet Mercy Anne

On July 15th, 2013 the launch of the charity "International Inspiration: International Development through Sport (IN)", a merger of  the II Foundation and International Development through Sport (IDS), was celebrated in London. Moving the Goalposts is implementing its Pathways project with support from International Development through Sport. The Pathways project is a programme that reaches out to girls between 15 - 24 years who are out of school. It aims at empowering out of school girls and young women economically.
