Rachel Muthoga Represents Moving the Goalposts Kilifi and Tackles Global Challenge
Rachel Muthoga, Executive Director, Moving the Goalposts Kilifi, Kenya was selected for the prestigious CSC Leaders Programme that took place in the UK during the last week of March 2014.
CSC leaders is a leadership programme which assembles exceptional senior leaders from across the Commonwealth to tackle challenges that businesses, governments and society face today and build global relationships needed by the leaders of tomorrow.
Rachel Muthoga joined over 100 other global leaders from public, private and NGO sectors across the Commonwealth to find innovative and practical solutions to this years challenge: How do you get societal - as well as economic value out of technological innovation?" Rachel Muthoga was also presented the HRH The Princess Royal at a reception for CSC Leaders at Buckingham Palace.
After two days in London hearing from experts on the challenge, Rachel Muthoga traveled on a three-day study tour to meet leaders in the city working on this challenge on a daily basis.
Following the study tour, CSC Leaders finished with two days in Oxford where the group presented their ideas for solutions to the challenge to a panel of experts who could help turn them into reality.
Rachel Muthoga will continue her learning when she attends Part Two of the CSC Leaders Programme later this year.
